The Galaxy A0x series offers Samsung's best value smartphones today. These devices focus on delivering essential features that users need, such as large battery, big display, and adequate camera capabilities. The newly launched Galaxy A03s is undoubtedly set to become Samsung's new leader in the 3 - 4 million VND price range.
So, what makes the Galaxy A03s so appealing, and why should you add it to your shopping list? Let's find out in this article.
Large 6.5-inch Display, Enhanced Performance for Better Viewing Experience
With the Galaxy A03s, you'll have a relatively large display space with the Infinity-V edge-to-edge 6.5-inch LCD screen, HD+ resolution. The display quality is decent in the budget segment. The pixel density of the A03s is around 270 ppi, so you can rest assured there won't be any noticeable pixelation.
The most evident upgrade is that the Galaxy A03s is equipped with the newer 12nm Helio P35 chip, improving both performance and battery efficiency compared to the Snapdragon 450 on its predecessor, the Galaxy A02s.
From my research, the Helio P35 is still a good processor in the budget segment, capable of smoothly running everyday applications and light entertainment games.
This year, Samsung has decided to release the A03s with a default configuration of 4 GB RAM, allowing you to multitask with everyday apps more efficiently. With 64 GB of internal storage, capturing moments becomes even more effortless.
Moving on to battery life, this smartphone is favored with a hefty 5,000 mAh battery. The previous generation Galaxy A02s, with a similar battery capacity, impressed users with nearly 10 hours of continuous multitasking usage.
I believe the A03s this year will perform even better because the HD+ display panel consumes less energy, and the renowned Helio P35 processor is known for its stability and excellent power efficiency. For detailed battery life information, stay tuned for our upcoming review on the Galaxy A03s.
In summary, the Galaxy A03s in this aspect will receive a slight upgrade in performance and battery life, easily meeting your basic usage needs.
Still a familiar, rugged design
The Galaxy A03s doesn't undergo many changes in its design. We'll still have a frame, a plastic back with a matte finish to minimize fingerprint smudges. The side edge still houses a fingerprint sensor for quick and convenient unlocking.
Overall, the device is relatively large in size, moderate in weight, and the curved back provides a solid grip. You'll still have a choice of 3 colors: White, Sky Blue, and Black.
On the front, you'll still find the familiar Infinity-V display. There's a slight protrusion as Samsung keeps the bottom bezel a bit thick, so it doesn't look completely seamless.
Basic Camera Performs Well
In today's life, everyone wants to capture memorable moments. Recognizing this, Samsung has endeavored to bring the most-used sensors and features to the Galaxy A03s.
Specifically, the A03s camera will include a 13 MP main sensor, a 2 MP macro lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The main sensor's specifications seem almost identical to the A02s, so it's sure to meet your basic photography needs in everyday life.
Macro mode allows you to capture artistic small objects at a distance of 3-5 cm, exploring the tiniest details around you. Portrait mode highlights the subject you want to emphasize.
Don't forget, the Galaxy A03s still features a 5 MP selfie camera, capable of producing 'picture-perfect' selfies with fun filters and stickers. This camera will also capture clearer images of you during online learning, as, from what I know, most built-in laptop webcams nowadays are quite poor in quality.
Galaxy A03s: Samsung's New Leader in the Budget Segment
The Galaxy A03s is equipped with a configuration that still meets the basic needs of users. With the success of the previous A02s model, I believe the Galaxy A03s will continue to be well-received.
With slight improvements in both performance and battery life, the price of the Galaxy A03s is only 3.69 million, just 100,000 VND more than the 4GB/64GB variant of the A02s, so upgrading to the Galaxy A03s is definitely the optimal choice.
