Users can now see the rectangular sensor surface on the Samsung Galaxy S10 screen when there is strong light source.
According to Areamobile, this rectangular border is the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. However, it's only visible on a bright background, not on a dark background or when the screen is off. It's also challenging to detect in a regular room or normal lighting.

Before its release, the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor feature under the Samsung screen had attracted much attention. Some were concerned whether using a regular screen protector would affect the sensor. However, a phone accessory manufacturer later confirmed they could create a screen protector for the Galaxy S10 that still supports the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, albeit at a higher price. The issue doesn't affect the device's functionality but is merely cosmetic and may be addressed in retail versions when they hit shelves in early March.
Samsung has postponed integrating the under-display fingerprint sensor several times. Initially, they planned to introduce this feature with the Galaxy Note 8. Additionally, the emergence of the ultrasonic sensor also led to the elimination of the force touch feature on the virtual Home button as seen on the Galaxy S8 and S9.
