All Android smartphone manufacturers are currently racing to upgrade their devices to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Following Google's release, products from Nexus, Motorola, and recently, LG G3, are gearing up for the update.
Today, Samsung has initiated actions to let users know that they are not lagging behind in updating their devices to the most anticipated operating system.
Recently, Samsung's tech page, Sammobile, posted an image of the Galaxy Note 4 using the Android 5.0 Lollipop version. It is known to be the Beta version, but the official version is expected to be released in just a few days.
In the image, Android 5.0 showcases notifications directly from the lock screen, a significant improvement compared to Android Kitkat. Besides, the TouchWiz interface is still in use, which is the distinctive design that Samsung Galaxy utilizes.
Samsung is actively prioritizing updates for older devices such as Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S5, even the long-released Galaxy S4 is set to receive Android 5.0, starting with Google Play. The anticipated update is expected to roll out in December.
