Today's sources reveal that the second-generation Galaxy SmartTag will debut alongside the Galaxy Watch6, Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and S9 series. Samsung's new tracking device is said to feature improved technical specifications, including enhanced wireless connectivity range. It will offer better signal strength and longer battery life. Moreover, Galaxy SmartTag 2 will incorporate enhanced security features designed to prevent unauthorized tracking.
Samsung will also strive to expand the functionality of the new generation Galaxy SmartTag by integrating the device with SmartThings in new and intelligent ways. This product can perform tasks such as triggering SmartThings devices, dimming lights, or controlling smart TVs.
