As reported earlier, Samsung has officially introduced its new premium foldable smartphone at the recently concluded Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event, namely the Galaxy Z Fold5.
Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold5 retains a similar exterior with a horizontally folding screen like a book and comes with a large secondary display on the front. However, the device is equipped with a new Flex hinge that folds seamlessly and securely, thereby ensuring a seamless and safer phone experience, helping to protect the screen better and prevent dust from entering.
Galaxy Z Fold5In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Z Fold5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset, coupled with 12GB of RAM and offering users up to 1TB of internal storage. The device features a 4,400 mAh battery similar to its predecessor with both 25W wired and 15W wireless fast charging capabilities.
The Galaxy Z Fold5 also features a triple rear camera system consisting of 50MP + 12MP + 10MP sensors, a 12MP selfie camera on the secondary display, and an additional 4MP sensor hidden beneath the main screen. The phone runs on the Android 13 operating system with the OneUI 5.1.1 user interface.
