Galaxy Z Fold5Rumored screen series According to leaker @UniverseIce, Galaxy Z Fold5 may not have an IP58 dust and water resistance rating. Instead, this phone may continue to come with an IPX8 rating for water resistance, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold4. If this information is accurate, it's highly possible that even the Galaxy Z Flip5 won't have an IP58 rating. Despite having a new hinge, it seems that durability for these upcoming foldable phones hasn't been significantly improved.
Samsung may have improved the dust resistance capability of Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 but isn't ready to advertise this feature as it's not as good as the IP68 rating that their Galaxy A and S series phones boast.
Galaxy Z Flip5 slated for release is expected to feature a larger secondary display, measuring 3.4 inches to showcase more apps and widgets. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold5 receives no significant upgrades other than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor. The phone maintains its triple camera setup and 4,400mAh battery like the Galaxy Z Fold4.
