Following the triumph over TW, GAM's journey becomes extremely arduous.
Perhaps never before has a World Championship (Worlds) final seen such dramatic and attention-grabbing exploits from VCS teams. The performances of both teams, the individual displays of each player, and the overall results have left not only VCS fans but the global audience in awe. While Team Whales impressed with two consecutive come-from-behind victories against formidable opponents, GAM Esports embarked on a daring climb, seeking revenge against past adversaries with intense determination.

Recreating the VCS Sunset 2023 final at LoL Park, GAM clinched a convincing victory. The defending VCS champions completely outclassed TW, earning their spot in the Swiss stage. Meanwhile, despite a thrilling and tense journey, TW had to return home after just one defeat. Nevertheless, the VCS representative will undoubtedly garner the highest respect from League of Legends enthusiasts worldwide.

As GAM advances past the Swiss stage, international media paints a challenging picture. GAM will share the group with one of the four top-seeded teams from the four Major regions: JD Gaming (LPL), Gen.G (LCK), G2 Esports (LEC), and NRG (LCS).

Among these, except for NRG, still an unknown factor on the international stage, the other three are formidable opponents. JDG and Gen.G, in particular, are considered top contenders for the 2023 Worlds championship. Despite hailing from the LPL, JDG is determined not to give GAM any chance to create a seismic upset, unlike TES' complacency in last year's Worlds.

Certainly, to advance further, GAM must embrace every opponent. Moreover, the foundation for the yellow-black squad's hopes lies in the Swiss group stage format, which will be BO1. This sets the stage for VCS representatives to believe in their potential to cause surprises. GAM's players themselves will have to exert maximum effort, having eliminated a fellow VCS team to reach this stage, shouldering expectations even greater than usual at Worlds 2023.
