Confirmed: Slayder and Divkid are both set to join VCS newcomer GE for the 2022 Summer Split.
The countdown to VCS Summer 2022 official kickoff has begun. This season promises to be unique with the departure of major players like Team Flash, who failed in the Promotion Tournament, and Burst The Sky Esports. Stepping into their places are AS Esports and Genius Esports.

While AS Esports' journey to promotion seems relatively smooth, GE's path is marked by drama. GE found themselves inadvertently involved in the DNS Gaming vs. BTC VCS controversy and faced allegations of unethical behavior from their former player Ngô 'LL' Minh Quân post-promotion. Currently, all parties remain tight-lipped on the matter.

Recently, the Global Contract Database unexpectedly revealed that both Divkid and Slayder will be GE's marksmen for the upcoming 2022 Summer Split. These names are familiar to the Vietnamese LoL community. Slayder is renowned as one of VCS's top marksmen, while Divkid hails from GAM Esports, the team that secured Vietnam's gold medal at SEA Games 31 and clinched the VCS Spring 2022 championship.

If this marksman duo indeed joins GE next season, VCS's newest contender will undoubtedly attract significant attention. Despite being a VCS B team, GE comprises members familiar with the highest echelons of Vietnamese LoL, such as jungler Yijin, former Team Secret top laner Coated, and Blazes. With the addition of Slayder and Divkid, GE's lineup will be formidable indeed.

However, GE has yet to issue any official statement regarding these deals, and the information has only surfaced on the Global Contract Database. Therefore, VCS fans may have to wait a little longer for these deals to become official.
