Today, the SM-A055F variant of Galaxy A05 underwent performance testing on Geekbench, revealing some key specifications of the phone.
Galaxy A05 Shows Strong Performance on GeekbenchSpecifically, data from Geekbench indicates that the Galay A05 will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 (MT6769V/CZ) chipset. This marks a significant upgrade from the Galaxy A04, which utilized the Helio P35 SoC.
Although both are 12nm chips, the G85 boasts two Cortex-A75 cores (2.0GHz) and six A55 cores (1.8GHz), compared to the eight Cortex-A53 cores on the P35. This translates to improved single and multi-core performance for the Galaxy A05. Additionally, the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU is twice as fast as the PowerVR GE8320.
Affordable Galaxy A05 Set to Launch SoonThe variant of Galaxy A05 tested on Geekbench features 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 13 Go. In terms of performance, the device scored 419 points in single-core testing and 1,386 points in multi-core testing.
