T1 CEO faces numerous criticisms after a slip of the tongue regarding Gen.G.
In these days, as teams begin preparations for the upcoming season, the LoL community is closely watching. Particularly, after their championship win, T1 has three players whose contracts are up: Gumayusi, Keria, and Zeus. Meanwhile, other teams like Dplus KIA and Gen.G are also undergoing significant changes. All signs point to a highly active transfer season ahead, with undoubtedly some major signings shaking up the LoL scene.

But of course, there are also information leaks from insiders in the region. However, if such a leak comes from a prominent figure with significant influence still in office, that's an unexpected twist. Yet, that's precisely what happened. Recently, T1's CEO Joe Marsh unintentionally revealed that Gen.G has secured Canyon. The T1 CEO even took a subtle jab at Gen.G, stating: 'Arnold (COO of Gen.G) is always complaining about being poor, then his team goes ahead and signs Canyon.'

This has left many LoL fans, especially Gen.G supporters, extremely dissatisfied. This happens at a time when just a few days ago, T1's COO Josh was pressuring a well-known journalist, who happens to be close to T1, for leaking news about Coach KkOma's return to T1. Some even directly mocked T1's COO, saying: 'Josh is really making a spectacle of himself in this situation.'

However, the information from T1's CEO holds significant credibility. Because shortly after, reliable sources from the LCK revealed crucial information: 'Canyon has agreed to a contract with Gen.G.' It can be understood that Canyon and Gen.G have indeed engaged in lengthy and detailed negotiations regarding an upcoming 'blockbuster' deal.

The T1 CEO's disclosure of another team's internal affairs, especially a direct rival, is truly sensitive. But this might only intensify the anticipation among LoL fans for the activation of upcoming transfer market 'bombshells.'
