I. How to download Zalo on Android, iPhone

If you're new to Zalo, get Zalo here:

Note: 

- When using Zalo on your phone, you can download photos/videos from both Messages and Diary to your device. Specifically:

+ For Messages, you can download your own and others' photos/videos to your device

+ For Diary, you can download your own and others' photos (including photos on personal pages, cover photos, and profile pictures). However, for videos, you can only download the videos you've posted, not videos shared by others to your device.

Step 1: Log into Zalo with your account. In the Chat or Diary section, follow these steps:

Scenario 1: For images in Diary

Browse your friends' Diary on Zalo, locate the image you want to download.

Next, click on the 3 horizontal lines icon in the top corner of the chat window and select 'save to device'

If you want to download Zalo profile pictures, cover photos of yourself or others, you can do so in a similar way. However, for this method, you can only download individual photos, not entire photo albums as in messages.

Scenario 2: For images in messages

Open the 'messages' section in the Zalo app and open the chat window with the friend whose photo you want to download.

Then, select the photo you want to download, press the download button or click on the three dots icon, choose 'save to device'. If you want to save the entire photo album, click on the 3 horizontal lines icon next to the photo, select 'save photo, video' or 'save to Cloud' to save the photo.

II. Guide to download Zalo photos to computer

With similar procedures, you can also download Zalo photos, videos of yourself or others to your computer. However, with the Zalo PC version, you can only download photos from messages, download cover photos, profile pictures and that's it.

Scenario 1: Download photos from Zalo messages

In the chat message box on Zalo, click on the image you want to download, then click on the 'download' icon to download the image.

Additionally, you can also download Zalo photos by clicking on the three dots icon next to the image, then click 'save to device' 

Scenario 2: How to download Zalo profile pictures, cover photos on computer

From the chat box, personal conversation on Zalo, you click on the profile picture of the person whose photo you want to get. Immediately, the Zalo frame will display a full interface with complete information of the viewer, including profile picture, cover photo, phone number information, bio, date of birth of the viewer... To download the cover photo or profile picture of this person, you just need to click to view the photo, profile picture and continue to follow the instructions in Scenario 1 to download the desired image.
