Ghềnh Ráng shines with Hoang Hau beach and the Hàn Mặc Tử tomb, chosen by National Geographic as one of the top 5 beautiful beaches in southern Vietnam.
Ghềnh Ráng in the International Spotlight
In early 2020, the renowned global television channel National Geographic (NatGeo), based in the United States, highlighted the top 5 beautiful beaches in southern Vietnam, with Ghềnh Ráng being one of the five mentioned landmarks.

Ghềnh Ráng is acclaimed by National Geographic as the best beach for tourists. The other destinations include Nha Trang – the most beautiful beach at night, Sông Cầu as the best beach for relaxation, Mũi Né as the most suitable beach for water sports, and Tam Hải Island as an ideal sea for exploration.
CNN had previously praised and described Quy Nhơn city as a place that has everything a traveler desires, including 5-star resorts, pristine beaches, breathtaking scenery, and diverse local cuisine.

In March, Quy Nhơn caught the attention of SCMP, a Hong Kong-based newspaper, as an interesting alternative to Nha Trang for foreign visitors exploring Vietnam in 2020. According to the article, Quy Nhơn offers affordable and fresh seafood, beautiful beaches with delicious cuisine, and numerous relaxing spots. Additionally, tourists can explore coral reefs around Hon Kho Island or immerse themselves in the Cham Pa culture at historical sites like the Twin Towers, Banh It Tower, and Fairy Tower.
On January 16, Quy Nhơn was honored as one of Vietnam's three tourist cities, receiving the 'Clean ASEAN Tourism City 2020' award at the ATF 2020 Southeast Asian Tourism Forum held in Brunei. This recognition highlights the coastal city as an attractive destination on Vietnam's tourism map.

Ghenh Rang, located approximately 3 km southeast of the city center, was chosen by King Bao Dai as a retreat in 1927. The unique feature of this place lies in the cluster of rocks aligned along the curves of the Xuan Van mountain pass, forming caves and cliffs with a fascinating landscape. At the foot of Ghenh Rang Hill is a beach with numerous smoothed pebbles, once reserved for Queen Nam Phuong during her vacations, hence known as Queen's Beach. Due to its unique beauty, Ghenh Rang has been recognized as a national heritage by the Ministry of Information and Communication.
