Golden Flower Tea is a native plant, growing naturally in forests, ravines, and waterways in the mountainous district of Ba Che, Quang Ninh province. Previously, people used to dig up entire plants to sell to traders for around 1.5 - 2 million VND per plant. However, because traders bought the whole plant, the Golden Flower Tea population gradually declined.

Recognizing the significant benefits that Golden Flower Tea brings, instead of selling the plants, locals have begun to cultivate, restore, and conserve Golden Flower Tea plants. These plants prefer shade, but now they are being grown on hillsides requiring irrigation. Proper spacing is essential; if planted too densely, the plants will die.

Golden Flower Tea Ba Che is now certified as a 5-star product, certified as an OCOP product of Quang Ninh province. Not stopping there, this product is also gradually becoming a national OCOP product.

The development of growing Golden Flower Tea Ba Che is not just the story of pioneering farmers, daring to think and act, but also evidence of the correctness of the policy to transform Ba Che into a forestry and medicinal economic center.

According to researchers, Golden Flower Tea Ba Che is a precious medicinal material for health with effects on the body such as: reducing blood sugar levels, detoxifying the liver and kidneys; reducing lipid levels in serum, reducing bad cholesterol levels; it can help lower blood pressure, inhibit platelet aggregation, prevent blood clot formation causing blood vessel blockage.
