Google is adding biometric authentication for the auto-fill login feature on Android. Although Google's auto-fill feature has been available for a few years on Android, the implementation has not been secure as Google never required biometric verification or a password before filling in information. This means that people can easily use the auto-fill feature to log into apps and services on unlocked devices.

With a recent update to Play Services and activation from the server side, Google has implemented biometric authentication for Autofill service on Android 10 and newer devices. This feature is hidden within Settings > Google > Autofill > Autofill with Google > Autofill Security. Here, you'll find the option to enable biometric authentication for filling in login information.
If the feature is available on your device, you can open any app that requires login information, and you'll be prompted to verify your identity with biometric authentication. Depending on the device you're using, this can be done using fingerprint, iris, or face authentication. Adding biometric authentication not only enhances security but also makes it easier for users to access and use their devices.
