If you frequently search with various search engines, there is an excellent solution for you: use an extension called Bookolio on Google Chrome. Bookolio allows you to search through 21 search engines with just 1 tab on Chrome. Additionally, it can let you add bookmarks, applications, history, and remember the websites you visit the most.
Google Chrome - How to search with 21 search engines on 1 Tab
Step 1: Download and install the Chrome browser. Download: Google Chrome
Step 2: Open the Google Chrome browser, Click on Settings
Step 3: Click Extensions, select Get more extensions
Step 4: Enter the keyword Bookolio in the search box, then install with “Free”
Step 5: Click on the 'Add' button to confirm.
Step 6: After installation, click on the New tab to open a new tab. You will see Chrome displaying as shown below. Bookolio has transformed the New tab into a search page with 21 most popular search engines today. Additionally, it also adds bookmarks and shortcuts.
Now you can search with any search engine by selecting the logo icon of the search engines below, then typing the keyword in the text input box above and pressing Enter. Bookolio will automatically select the search tool and you are ready to search, then display the corresponding results below as usual.
Bookolio also displays a list of bookmarks. The bookmark bar is displayed in 2 columns on the left and right sides of the browser.
To open an application from Chrome, simply click on the 'Applications' button at the bottom of the address bar. The application will be displayed as shown below.
