The new suggestion feature will start rolling out to Android users using English language. The company did not specify when the new feature will be deployed for iOS users.
If you're using the latest version of Gboard, you'll see a GIF icon at the top left corner when typing. Tap on that icon to display and view all suggestions generated by Google's AI. For instance, when typing a morning greeting, the keyboard app will display stickers, food emojis, and more.
Google states that all suggestions are generated and processed directly on the user's device instead of sending information to Google servers and receiving suggestions back. The new feature saves time in displaying GIF and emoji suggestions while keeping the entire process private.
