Google has recently announced new enhancements to the offline translation capabilities of Google Translate for 59 languages, providing translations with an average higher accuracy of 12%. For some languages such as Japanese, Korean, and Polish, translation quality has been improved by over 20%.
The translation feature has also been significantly improved. This feature will help users pronounce more accurately by displaying letters from the foreign alphabet they have previously used. With the latest update, 8 new languages will be transcribed, including Arabic, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
To experience these new features, users need to install the latest version of Google Translate from the Play Store or the App Store on iOS. After downloading the offline files for supported languages, you'll see a banner to update and use the latest features. Otherwise, you'll have to manually download them in the offline settings section.
