Google improved Google Images 2 years ago with the integration of Lens on mobile, allowing users to learn more about objects in images through Knowledge Graph or Google's Knowledge Graph. Now, the search engine giant has announced a new feature for Images, displaying more information about the images you search for on the web.

Search results in Images will now display relevant facts about the image beneath the page title starting this week. These snippets of information, sourced from the Knowledge Graph, may include people, places, or things related to the image. When users tap on a specific topic, a brief description will appear along with a range of other related topics. In a blog post, Google Search software engineer Angela Wu stated:
'For instance, let's imagine you're looking for a beautiful park nearby to visit. You're interested in swimming when you arrive, so you touch a picture of a park with a river. Below the image, you can explore related topics like the name of the river and the city where the park is located. Tapping on a specific topic will expand it to display a short description about the person, place, or thing it references, along with a link for further exploration and other similar topics for you to discover.'
The aim of this feature is to help users better understand the images they're searching for and determine the relevance of search results. Google states that the company utilizes deep learning technology to present these Knowledge Graph facts. Currently, the feature is only available to users in the United States who use Images on their mobile devices. However, the company plans to introduce the feature to more markets and support additional languages in the future.
Most online dating apps nowadays match users based on photos. However, this is set to change with Tinder experimenting with a new video dating feature, promising to help users make friends and acquaintances more effectively.
