With over 2 billion Android devices in use worldwide, many of which are deployed in enterprise environments, the needs of devices in enterprise settings include continuous and timely software security updates, device simplification, and consistent software. To address these needs, Google has begun granting Android Enterprise Recommended certification, with the aim of serving as an excellent tool for enterprise devices and services.
