The new user interface is currently in early testing stages and is only available through the Google Chrome Canary distribution, a special version of Chrome designed to test the latest features.

Google is currently experimenting with a new Chrome user interface.
In the screenshot below, you can see the new Chrome user interface using rectangular tabs with rounded corners, replacing the old-style designed tabs. The size of the tabs is also smaller compared to previous ones.
Despite the new user interface design, Google has yet to address the overload issue that occurs when users open multiple tabs. Opening too many tabs leads to unreadable tab titles because the tab width is below 10-15 pixels. Perhaps Google's designers should consider using a side-scrolling system to display tab names as seen in Firefox and other browsers.
The new Refresh interface is designed to look more familiar, drawing inspiration from Google's visual design language called Material Design.
Users can easily customize the Chrome wallpaper, interface with various images, themes, and different interfaces. For detailed instructions, refer to how to change Chrome wallpaper here.
Google has gradually redesigned the browser's settings, bookmarks, and web browsing history using the Material Design style. It seems Google engineers are also applying the same design principles to Chrome's actual interface.
According to Owen Williams, who discovered the new Chrome interface last weekend, at this time the new Refresh interface seems to only work on the Canary channel for Windows users.
Google has employed the same design for the Google Chrome browser since 2015. Below is an image of the current user interface on Chrome.
