Google Keep has just updated its Material Design interface, removing the yellow toolbar from the top corner and replacing the gray note background with a simple white background featuring a top-corner floating search bar.
Furthermore, the new update fine-tunes and enhances various features, including rounder note tags, headers utilizing the Google Sans font, and discontinuation of the classic Roboto Slab font for text content. The account switcher, usually found at the top corner menu icon, has been relocated below a button at the top right corner of the search bar. Most of the menu icon interface remains unchanged, except for font styles and icon tweaks.
The update released today brings the Material Theme interface update with version number v5.0.411, the latest version prior to this being v5.0.391.
Additionally, information about future app updates has been revealed, promising to add many more exciting new features. Recently on Reddit, a Google employee confirmed that the next Google Keep update will introduce support for Dark Mode, as well as support for marking important notes.
