Pixel Slate comes in 4 versions with 4 different configurations, specifically the lowest configuration equipped with an Intel Celeron processor, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB storage with a starting price of $599 USD. The highest-end version is equipped with a Core i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB storage, starting at $1,599 USD.
Google officially unveils the Pixel Slate tablet
A sleek and lightweight device, measuring just 7 mm thin and running Chrome OS. It features a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with a pixel density of 293ppi, offering up to 6 million pixels and a resolution of 3000x2000. It also supports the Pixelbook Pen touch pen.
In addition, Pixel Slate is equipped with front-facing stereo speakers and 2 noise-canceling microphones, enhancing the audio quality of video calls for users.
Both the front and rear cameras boast an 8 GB resolution. However, the rear camera has an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus, while the front camera has an f/1.9 aperture with a wider angle and a larger sensor to support better video calls.

Google integrates fingerprint sensor into the power button on Pixel Slate, featuring a dedicated microcontroller designed to enhance device security. Additionally, it incorporates the Titan C security chip to strengthen protection for sensitive data, user information, and device login passwords.
Regarding battery life, Google states that Pixel Slate offers up to 10 hours of battery life, supports fast charging capability, allowing for charging and usage for up to 2 hours after just 15 minutes of charging.
Lastly, the Google Chrome OS-powered tablet supports dual-band 802.11 wireless WiFi connectivity and Bluetooth 4.2 wireless connection, along with two USB-C ports for charging and 4K display output.
Pixel Slate will officially hit shelves later this year. Additionally, users can purchase the Pixel Slate detachable keyboard for $199 USD and Pixelbook Pen touch pen for $99 USD. Both accessories are available for separate purchase.
At the event, Google unveiled the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL duo, priced at $799 USD and $899 USD respectively. Both feature OLED displays, with the Pixel 3 sporting a 5.5-inch screen and the Pixel 3 XL with a 6.3-inch display. The duo will officially hit the US market on October 19th and the European market on November 2nd.
