According to recent findings by 9to5Google, payment for flight and event tickets is supported by the Google Pay API. Saving flight or event tickets to the Google Pay app is quite simple; users just need to press the Save to phone button. This button is located in the Cards tab under the new Tickets & Passes section in the app. When users press the button, event details and scannable QR codes will be displayed.
In March, Google Pay began supporting layover plane tickets at the Las Vegas Monorail, marking another leap in encouraging users to use Google Pay. To simplify using the Google Pay app after its release, you can refer to the guide here for more details.
