The latest Google Phone Beta app is now compatible with most Android devices in the market. This dialer app comes pre-installed on Pixel, Android One, and some Xiaomi devices sold in the European Union. Google expanded the availability of the Google Phone app on non-Pixel devices earlier this year, and now the app can be installed on smartphones from OnePlus, Samsung, and even Huawei.

To install the Google Phone app on an Android device, you first need to join the app's beta program. After that, you'll be able to install the beta app on your device. Google Phone doesn't appear in mobile Play Store search results, so you'll have to install it from the website using a direct link. The app's listing indicates compatibility with Android devices running Nougat or newer Android versions.
This version is the pre-installed app on Google's Pixel smartphones, featuring a similar interface but lacking most of the features that make it an excellent dialer on Pixel. You won't find the Call Screen feature here - one of the best features on Pixel devices. Recent additions through experimentation also don't appear on the Note 20 Ultra.

It's unclear what prompted Google to change and expand access for other Android phones, but Google's dialer has a clear and intuitive design. So, it's fantastic to have it as an option on Android devices.
