Google Photos' Live Albums now have a storage limit of 10,000 photos

In an announcement a few weeks ago, Google Photos introduced the Live Albums feature, allowing users to create an album or photo collection that automatically updates with new shots of the individuals included.

For example, when naming an album 'A's Photos,' it will automatically update with new photos recognized by Google Photos AI as belonging to the contact 'A' in your address book.

Now, Live Albums on Google Photos limit storage to 10,000 photos and restrict photo sharing with Live Albums to 20,000 photos. When reaching these limits, users will receive a notification stating a pause in Live Albums, preventing further uploads or storage of additional photos.

The only current method to upload and store additional photos on Live Albums is by removing older, less important images. Google Photos' AI also recognizes which photos are captured more beautifully.
