With the new Library tab in Google Photos, users can view favorites, albums, and more in a grid or list format. It even allows filtering lists by categories for easy file searching. Additionally, Google has added an import photos section below the album grid, facilitating the transfer of photos from other services and even digitizing these images if users only have a hard copy.

Google Photos Enhances Library and Share Tabs
With the updated Share tab, the search giant creates sections for sharing with partners, shared albums, and conversations. When connected individuals add new content, users receive notifications to stay updated, and with clearer defined sections, items are easier to find. The Share tab will 'dock' for Android users this week and for iOS users shortly after.
To use these new features, you need to update or download the latest version of Google Photos:
- Download Google Photos for Android
- Download Google Photos for iPhone
- Download Google Photos for PC
Finally, for unsaved screenshots, they won't appear in the main Google Photos source.
In addition, to help users easily access screen images, Google Photos will display a screenshot button at the top of the photo source to direct users directly instead of searching in other tabs.
