All 'high-quality' photos and videos uploaded before June 1 will not count towards the limit, giving users time to decide whether to continue using the service. While there are still limits for original quality videos, it's a small reward for a few Google device owners.

In some way, Photos always seems too good to be true, and it's only a matter of time before Google explores more ways to monetize the service. Just last week, the company introduced a premium editing feature in Photos exclusively for subscribers of Google One. Recent discoveries also indicate the deployment of several premium features.
