Google reveals a system similar to Apple's Find My for Android
Find My is an excellent device locating system by Apple, enabling users to track their iPhones, iPads, Mac computers, or AirTags even when they're out of Wi-Fi/Bluetooth range or powered off. Google was previously reported to be developing a similar 'Find My Device' system in 2021. And the recent December Play System update changelog hinted at the emergence of this system, allowing tracking of lost or misplaced Android devices without internet connectivity.
Specifically, the description mentions that 'Find My Device now supports encrypted reports on the last known location of the Android device, using a new privacy-focused framework'.This suggests that the new 'Find My Device' system could soon be launched for all Android devices in the near future.
