The tech giant from Mountain View has just announced several enhancements and updates for Google Translate's text translation from images, aiming to provide users with a better experience. The Google Translate app has been supplemented to support additional new languages.

Previously, Google Translate only supported translating text from images from English to other languages. Now, users can use Google Translate to translate from any language in real-time to another language from a total of over 100 languages supported by Google Translate.

Furthermore, if multiple input languages are needed, the good news is that the new update on Google Translate has added support for an additional 60 new languages, bringing the total number of supported languages to 88. Additionally, the automatic language detection feature is now available and operational on Google Translate's text translation from images in real-time.

This marks the first update supporting Neural Machine Translation technology for text translation through the camera. According to Google, translation accuracy can be improved by 55% to 85% for certain languages. To achieve the best results, users are advised to use an Internet connection.

Finally, there are 3 camera translation modes displayed at the bottom right corner of the user interface. The Instant mode translates text in real-time when the camera is pointed, the Scan mode allows users to take a photo, then select text to translate, and the Import mode enables users to choose photos available in the collection to translate.
