Google Meet has received several updates in recent months, and this update will make it easier for teachers and students to access the application. Soon, online classes will not be able to start without the presence of the teacher. Features such as larger grid view, raise hand to speak, and whiteboard are in the pipeline. Teachers will have new controls, including the ability to mute everyone, disable chat, lock presentation screen, block anonymous users, and end online classes for everyone. Multiple backgrounds including blurred backgrounds will also be provided.
