Critically Criticized for Disparaging Faker, Gori Now Competes in PCS
The name Gori resonates with the League of Legends community, especially LCK fans and T1 enthusiasts. Formerly with T1, Gori switched to EDward Gaming and later Nongshim RedForce. However, success eluded him, leading to a brief stint in each team. In the 2021 offseason, Gori moved to FunPlus Phoenix with hopes of replacing Doinb.

Despite positive results in Demacia Cup and the early season, FPX's journey in LPL Spring 2022 fell short of expectations. Gori's attempt to fill Doinb's shoes proved challenging, resulting in FPX ranking 10th in the group stage and an early exit from the playoffs.

Noteworthy in Gori's recent history is his provocative behavior towards Faker during NS victories over T1 in LCK Summer 2021. This challenge stirred resentment not only among T1 fans but also the entire LCK community. Since then, Gori has been a target of criticism in the League of Legends community.

Following unsuccessful endeavors in the two largest LoL leagues globally, Gori now finds himself in the PCS, often viewed as a smaller region in the League of Legends world. Compared to the VCS, PCS is sometimes undervalued. In MSI 2022, PSG Talon suffered defeat to Saigon Buffalo, diminishing PSG's chances of reaching the top 4.

Viewed as a setback in Gori's career, he has now joined PSG. With PSG being considered the strongest team in the PCS, Gori's potential to reach Worlds 2022 remains bright. At that time, he will have another opportunity to prove that LPL and LCK made a mistake by not creating more opportunities for him.
