Granting Administrator Privileges to Users in Windows 7, 8.1, and 10
* For Windows 7
Step 1: Click Start ---> Control Panel.
Step 2: Select User Accounts and Family Safety.
Step 3: Next, choose User Accounts.
Step 4: Proceed to Manage another account to manage the User.
Step 5: Choose the User you want to grant Admin privileges.
Step 6: Click on Change the account type to proceed with granting Admin privileges.
Step 7: Check the box next to Administrator to grant Admin privileges to this User account. Then save by clicking on Change Account Type.
That's it, you have granted Admin privileges to the User account you desired.
* For Win 8/8.1
Step 1: Press the MenuStart button (Window icon), type Account and access Your Account Settings.
Step 2: In the Other accounts section, select another account and then Edit.
Step 3: Now you can choose Administrator or User regular or Child, if you want to set the highest privileges, choose Administrator then OK.
That's it, you have completed setting admin rights for Win 8.
* For Windows 10
Step 1: Open the MenuStart, click on the currently used account, and select Change Account settings.
Step 2: In the Family & other users section, select Other Users.
Step 3: Click to select Change account type.
Step 4: Similar to Win 8, you are given the option to choose the highest privilege as Administrator or limited privilege with Standard User. Choose Administrator and then click OK to complete.
