Gree, the leading global air conditioning brand, introduces a 5-year warranty for products and an unprecedented 10-year warranty for compressors starting April 1st.
1. Gree Launches 10-Year Warranty Package
Gree, the premier air conditioning brand worldwide, announces a 5-year product warranty and a groundbreaking 10-year compressor warranty from April 1st.
The warranty package applies to inverter wall-mounted air conditioners, activated electronically through the Gree Services app since April 1st.
To introduce a decade-long warranty package, Gree reveals an in-depth analysis of cultural, geographical, economic, behavioral, and user needs. This leads to refining air conditioner models, equipped with advanced technology and a warranty policy tailored to domestic demands.
Gree's cutting-edge anti-sea salt corrosion technology enhances the longevity of its air conditioners.
As an illustration, Gree introduces the 'Sea Salt Corrosion Resistance' technology with three protective layers: a 100% copper coil, a high-grade Golden Fin corrosion-resistant heat exchanger, and a frame structure made from corrosion-resistant materials.
With a coastline stretching over 3,260 km, Vietnam enjoys a geographical advantage. However, the high salt content in the sea breeze affects the maintenance of outdoor installations, especially the condenser unit. With the new technology, air conditioners can operate reliably, remaining corrosion-free even under harsh weather conditions ranging from -15°C to 45°C.
A quality product is also defined by its ability to maintain stability throughout operation. Therefore, Gree has expanded the voltage range to 170V-265V to ensure the air conditioner operates stably in rural areas while enhancing durability.
To meet high durability requirements, the protection box for the condenser's mainboard is made from flame-resistant material, with a metal casing on the outside to prevent ignition in case of blockage. The inverter's condenser mainboard can still function well even when the temperature exceeds 85°C. The mainboard is sealed to prevent insect intrusion, avoiding damage and motor disruptions.
Gree's latest generation air conditioner is equipped with advanced technologies.
Gree's factory integrates automation throughout the production line, with robots handling most tasks. To ensure international standard product quality, Gree controls 100% of input materials, strictly adhering to a 100% production process. All products undergo thorough testing at multiple stages before leaving the factory.

According to Nikkei Shimbun's (Japan) report on the '2019 Global Product and Service Market Share Investigation,' Gree holds the global leading market share in residential air conditioning (RAC) with 20.6%. By the end of 2019, Euromonitor International (UK) voted Gree as the 'World's No.1 Air Conditioning Brand.'
In the Vietnamese market, at the 2020 online launch event, Gree introduced three new generation air conditioner products, including:
Pular: An Inverter standard air conditioner equipped with advanced features commonly found in premium models such as Cold Plasma, Dual Swing Blades, G-Clean, at a reasonable price.
Pular 07: To address air conditioning for small spaces, Gree brings to the market a 7,000 Btu/h (0.8 horsepower) air conditioner model compatible with rooms under 12m². This improvement ensures efficient energy savings while maintaining optimal cooling performance.
Multi XS (Extra-Saving): An optimized design air conditioner specifically tailored for two-bedroom apartments. With a condenser unit of 14,000 Btu/h capacity, it can simultaneously connect two indoor units with capacities of 7,000 Btu/h and 9,000 Btu/h respectively. Thanks to efficient performance management, the air conditioner can operate beyond the load by up to 130%, ensuring durability and energy savings.
'Gree doesn't aim to sell expensive products but rather to offer optimal solutions and a range of products that truly suit Vietnamese consumers,' shared Mr. Andy Deng, General Director of Gree Vietnam.
