1. Grilling Fish to Perfection with Microwave
Fish grilling is a popular dish, but it can be quite complex, especially the grilling stage. Now, with just a microwave, grilling fish becomes significantly simpler.
1. Preparing Ingredients
- One catfish weighing approximately 500 to 800g
- Cashew oil, fish sauce, pepper, seasoning powder, satay
- Chili, coriander, fresh lime.
- A microwave
2. Preparing and Marinating the Fish
- Clean and slice fresh ginger and chili into small pieces.
- Mix cashew oil, fish sauce, pepper, seasoning powder, and satay in a small bowl, ensuring they blend well to use as a marinade.
- Thoroughly clean the catfish, removing the head skin, gills, and rinse under running water. Rub salt and vinegar on the slimy outer part of the fish. Then, use a knife to make diagonal cuts on the fish body.
- After cleaning the fish, use the prepared spice mixture to brush over the fish body and inside the stomach, then let it marinate for about 30 minutes to allow the spices to infuse evenly.
3. Microwaving Fish
- Once the spices have infused into the fish, place it in the microwave for about 5 minutes. When the microwave turns off, take the fish out, flip it over, and continue microwaving for the same amount of time.
- When the fish emits a strong, fragrant smell, it's done. You can take it out and serve it on a plate.
