I absolutely love kiwi, and every time I go to the supermarket, I grab 2-3kg to pair with my yogurt. However, it's gotten quite expensive, so I decided to bring home some seeds and try my hand at planting. Ladies, check out this guide on growing kiwi at home!

1. Preparation for Growing Kiwi at Home:
- 1 kiwi fruit (organic variety)
- Small pots
- Paper towels
- Plates and plastic containers
- Planting soil mix (including peat, organic fertilizer, and crushed stones)
- Medium-sized pot
- Note: Plant in a well-lit area. Kiwi requires plenty of sunlight, especially during the leaf development phase. If your home lacks natural sunlight, use fluorescent lights.
2. Growing Kiwi at Home:
- Extract kiwi seeds by passing the fruit's pulp through a sieve, repeating the process several times to obtain kiwi seeds.
- Soak kiwi seeds in warm water and place in a warm, well-ventilated area. Remember to change the water daily for a continuous week.
- After a week, you'll notice the seeds starting to crack. At this point, place the kiwi seeds on a layer of cotton or a water-absorbing thin cloth. Cover them with a basket and keep in a warm, sunny spot. After 2 days, when the seeds begin to sprout, you can sow them in a pot.

- Firstly, moisten the soil in the pot and plant each seed with a depth of about 0.7-1cm (about half the length of a finger). A small pot should only accommodate about 2-3 kiwi seeds. Ensure proper spacing between seeds to allow sufficient room for future plant growth.
- After sowing the seeds, cover with the basket and place in a warm, well-ventilated area until the seedlings have two leaves.

- Always ensure the soil in the pot stays consistently moist. It's best to use a spray bottle to prevent waterlogging or leaf dryness.
- Also, remember to place the pot in a well-lit area for the plant to absorb sunlight daily. You can supplement the plant with nutrients about 2-3 times a year by fertilizing at the base.
- When the plant reaches about 2 hand spans in size, create a trellis for it to climb on gradually.
