Zeta R5 is designed to be compatible with the recently launched Intel Xeon W-2400X and W-3400X processor lineups. The new products will support up to quad-channel and octo-channel configurations corresponding to Intel W790 motherboards.
Additionally, the product will feature impressive technical specifications such as DDR5-6400 CL32 standard and support for maximum capacity up to 256GB (32GB x 8). The Zeta R5 RDIMM RAM series will be an excellent component for specialized workstation devices aimed at executing creative content, 3D graphics, or scientific computing.

On the Intel W790 platform, overclocking support feature for RAM
DDR5R-DIMM introduction enables workstation systems to achieve higher memory speeds based on JEDEC standard specifications. Leveraging this feature, the G.Skill Zeta R5 series integrates Intel XMP 3.0 configuration for users to easily attain faster speeds, expand memory bandwidth, and performance with just a switch in the BIOS.

To further enhance memory limits on the Sapphire Rapids platform, G.Skill's R&D team utilized DDR5-6400 CL32-39-39-102 16GB R-DIMM modules, increasing the total capacity to 128GB (16GB x 8). The ASUS Pro WS W790E-SAGE SE motherboard and Intel Xeon W9-3495X processor were employed to maximize speed from the octo-channel configuration.
Results yield impressive bandwidth levels with read speeds reaching up to 303GB/s, write speeds up to 227GB/s, and copy speeds hitting 257GB/s in the AIDA64 performance benchmark software. Additionally, these results are indicative as they may vary depending on hardware configuration, BIOS version, system settings, or test parameters.

Additionally, for those with larger memory capacity requirements, G.Skill Zeta R5 offers a 32GB x 8 kit, elevating total capacity to 256GB and achieving a clock speed of DDR5-6000 CL30-38-38-96.

Furthermore, with the mentioned system, G.Skill demonstrates the overclocking potential of RDIMM to DDR5-6800 CL34-45-45-108 across all 8 equipped channels.
In the AIDA64 software, astounding bandwidth is showcased with read speeds reaching 315GB/s, write speeds up to 228GB/s, and copy speeds hitting 262GB/s. While DDR5-6800 speeds are not default specifications upon introduction, this highlights the immense potential of the new Intel W790 platform.

To achieve such staggering speeds, Zeta R5 has supported Intel XMP 3.0 memory overclocking configuration and optimized very well with Xeon W-2400X and W-3400X processors along with the corresponding Intel W790 chipset motherboards. These products are expected to be widely available globally starting from March 2023.
