Currently, millions of Vietnamese citizens are using the PC Covid application for health declaration and travel during the complex pandemic situation. However, some PC Covid users have reported slow updates and incorrect information display. Here, Media Mart will guide you on simple and effective solutions.
1. Handling incorrect display of vaccination doses by PC Covid
According to the Covid-19 Prevention Technology Center, some users still encounter inaccuracies in vaccination information or incorrect phone numbers and addresses that cannot be corrected. Moreover, due to the mass vaccination of the third dose in certain localities, updating the third dose is still slow. If the information is inaccurate or missing, individuals can provide feedback or self-report. Mr. Nguyen Truong Nam, Deputy Director of the Information Technology Department - Ministry of Health, mentioned three ways for citizens to provide feedback on vaccination information.
The first method is for individuals to call the Ministry of Health hotline at 19009095 and follow the instructions of the hotline staff to be guided on updating accurate and effective information.
The second method is for individuals to supplement information by accessing the Vaccination Information Portal on the tiemchungcovid19.gov.vn website, then selecting the 'Feedback' feature. Users will fill in all required information such as full name, ID card or citizen ID, and vaccination details including vaccine type, time, and location of receiving the certificate. Currently, this website supports feedback for up to seven vaccination doses.
In case of getting vaccinated and not receiving a certificate from the vaccination center, individuals should contact the vaccination site to have healthcare personnel promptly update the information on the system. This is an effective way to resolve any inaccuracies or missing vaccination information.
The third method is to self-report vaccinations on PC Covid.
If your electronic health record is fully updated but PC Covid hasn't been updated yet, you can follow these basic steps. Go to the app, search for and select the vaccination section on the main interface, then click on 'Check latest vaccination information' to view the most recent data.
If your vaccination hasn't been updated on the system, you can self-report by upgrading to the latest version of PC Covid. After installation, go to Menu, select Wallet, then choose Add vaccination certificate. Complete the required information such as vaccination date, vaccine type, batch number, and administering unit as instructed.
Comparing to reporting on the Vaccination Information Portal, self-reporting is more proactive. After self-reporting, PC Covid will display the number of self-reported vaccinations. It's important to note that self-reporting vaccinations does not change the color of the Covid-19 card. According to the Covid-19 Prevention Technology Center, users can store essential documents like a photo of the Vaccination Certificate without carrying a hard copy. With self-reported information, the system will forward it to the vaccination center for prompt updating.
These are the methods for addressing inaccuracies in PC Covid's display of vaccination doses that you should be aware of. Don't forget to follow Media Mart for quick updates on the latest information.
