Step 1: During a match, first ensure that the developer's control panel for players is activated. This can be done by navigating to Help & Options in the in-game Menu.
Next, go to Game Settings and in there, enable the Developer Console—the fourth option from the top, set to Yes as depicted.
Step 2: With the developer's control panel enabled, exit the menu and press - to the left of the 1 key on your keyboard to open the control panel. Enter the command 'viewmodel_fov X' where 'X' is the value you want to set for your FOV.
Your view mode includes the character's hand, the gun you're holding, and anything else fixed at the forefront of the screen in first-person view. The FOV in your CSGO view mode can be set between 54 to 68, with the minimum value being 58 and the maximum being 58.
