In the previous article, Mytour guided you on how to add effects to Videos, and in this article, we have another trick for you - Cutting Videos in Windows Movie Maker.
Cutting videos in Windows Movie Maker
Step 1: Open Windows Movie Maker, you can download Windows Movie Maker latest version here
Step 2: On the toolbar, select File --> Import into Collections.. (or use the shortcut Ctrl+I) to open a Video to be trimmed.
Step 3: The imported Video will automatically be divided into segments (usually every 10 seconds). Use the Ctrl+A shortcut to select all these segments, drag and drop them into the Show Storyboard panel at the bottom.
Step 4: Choose a segment you want to cut, set the start and end times. Before doing this, your Video must be in Play mode.
On the toolbar, click Clip
- Set Start Trim Point (Ctrl+Shift+I): Set the start time.
- Set End Trim Point (Ctrl+Shift+O): Set the end time
Performing similarly to the remaining Video segments, you will have a desired Video, the final step is to Save to preserve the Video. Besides Windows Movie Maker, you can download other Video editing software on Mytour.
