Step 1: To use this incognito mode, you first need to download or update the Google Maps app to the latest version on your phone.

Step 2: Access the Google Maps app -> Tap on the profile icon located at the top right corner of the app -> Select the Google account you want to use incognito mode on Google Maps. Next, select the profile icon again -> Find and click on the option: Turn on incognito mode.
A notification will appear, you select close. When incognito mode is successfully activated on Google Maps, the interface of the map app you are accessing will switch to a black background. When you tap on your current location on Google Maps, you will only be able to view nearby places. Features like sharing your location, saving your parking location will also not be displayed when you have activated this mode.
Once incognito mode is enabled, the search system of the Google Maps app will no longer store your recent activities and searches within the app.
To disable incognito mode on Google Maps, on the main interface of the app, you click on the incognito icon ->Turn off incognito mode to exit.
