Photos taken on Android devices can be easily shared directly on social media. However, if for some reason you need to edit them with Photoshop or simply want to transfer them to your computer for safekeeping, and you're unsure how to do so, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Connect your Android device to your computer.
Step 2: Check if file transfer is enabled on your Android device by pulling down the Status Bar from the top of the screen.
Step 3: After completing Step 2, go to My Computer on your computer and select the name of your device that is displayed. Click to select it.
Step 4: There are two storage options: device memory and SD card. Since we're not using an SD card and photos are saved on the device by default, choose device memory.
Step 5: Select the DCIM folder.
Step 6: Next, choose the Camera folder.
Step 7: Your photos are displayed here. You can freely copy them to your computer to carry out your desired tasks.
