Guidance on Sharing Location in the New Google Maps Version

Google Maps has launched a new version with 5 important features as we introduced in the previous article, including the highly sought-after location sharing feature.

The location sharing feature is very useful in current conditions. Although other similar apps have introduced this feature long ago, Google Maps started integrating this capability from version 9.3.0 onwards.

Today, Mytour will guide you on how to share your location in the new version of Google Maps.

Step 1 : Launch Google Maps and turn on GPS, pinpoint your current location, press and hold to pin it to your current location > The address below is accurate, click on it.

Step 2 : In the tool that appears, select Share.

Step 3: Choose your preferred method of sending, be it SMS, email, or Google Drive. I opted for email.

Step 4: Verify your inbox for the outcome, click on the received link within the email.

Step 5: Select Google Maps, then choose Once or Always, and the sender's location will be displayed on Google Maps.
