Step 1: Open Google Maps and enable location services by selecting 'Allow while using the app' when prompted.
Step 2: Tap on the green arrow in the bottom right corner to view your current location in the app.
Step 3: Tap on your green location marker to bring up additional options, then select 'Share your location'.
Step 4: You can choose a duration to share your location or 'Until you turn this off.' For ease of sharing your location with a contact, choose a duration.
Step 5: Tap on the Message icon and enter your Android contact's number to share your location with them.
Step 6: Press send, or modify the message slightly, just ensure to keep the custom link generated by Google Maps intact.
