Guide to Updating Apps from Google Play Store
Note: Before starting app updates from the Google Play Store, ensure that your TV is connected to the internet and you are logged into your Google account on your Sony Android TV.

First, navigate to the TV's home screen and scroll down using the remote control.

Scroll down and select the 'Google Play Store' logo as shown.

Once inside, scroll down and select the 'Update' option.

All apps that can be updated will be displayed.

You can either select the 'Update All' checkbox to update all or choose individual apps to update.

As shown below, I've selected the 'Map' app for updating.

The Update icon appears, simply click on Update and wait a moment for your app to be upgraded to the latest version from Google.
Guide to Automatically Updating Apps from the Google Play Store

For Auto Update, simply go to 'Settings' as shown in the image.

Next, select 'My apps' or 'My applications'.

A new page appears, you then proceed to Auto update Apps - ' automatic app updates '

And select 'Auto update app at any time' to complete the process.
If you don't want apps to update automatically, you can choose the 'Do not auto update apps' option. Installing, updating, and using apps from the Google Play Store is indeed simple, isn't it?
