
1. Trim a segment in the video.
Step 1: Select the video to trim.
Select File -> Open (shortcut Ctrl+O).

Navigate to the video to trim and click Open.

Step 2: Mark the segment of the video to be trimmed.



Step 3: Cut the marked video segment.
After marking the segment to be cut, select Edit -> Cut (shortcut Ctrl+X).

Step 4: Choose the output file format at Video Output.

Step 5: Save the file.
Select File -> Save (shortcut Ctrl+S).

Enter the file name in the File name section and press Save to save the file.
2. Merge multiple videos.
Step 1: To successfully merge video segments, it's crucial to review the specifications of each video, ensuring they match in size and parameters.
For instance, consider the two videos below:

Without alignment, merging the required video segments would be challenging.
Open the first file for merging (File -> Open), following the same process as above.
To open the second file, select File -> Append (shortcut Ctrl+A).

Step 2: You've successfully merged 2 video files. To save the merged video, choose File -> Save (shortcut Ctrl+S).

Enter the file name in File name, then press Save to save the file.
