I'll guide you on how to change your personal Facebook name on both the desktop (PC) and mobile versions of Facebook.
For Desktop Version:
Step 1: On your Facebook homepage, click the downward arrow icon and select Settings.
Step 2: Under General, you'll find information about your account on the right side of the screen. To change your name, click Edit next to Name to edit the name for your account.
Step 3: You can change your name as you like. It's recommended to use your real name so your friends can easily find your personal Facebook. Additionally, Facebook doesn't allow special characters or impersonating famous names without permission. Moreover, you're only allowed to change your name a maximum of 5 times, with a limit of 60 days each time. Readers should consider carefully before proceeding to change their name. After selecting a name you like, click to review the changes.
Step 4: After clicking to review the changes, Facebook will provide suggestions for your display name. You can change it to one of the 3 suggestions in order (First Name, Middle Name, Last Name) or (First Name, Last Name) or (Last Name, Middle Name, First Name). Step 2: In the Settings menu, choose Personal Information.
Step 3: A new menu will appear displaying user's personal information such as Name, Address, Email, Phone Number. To change the name, touch the Name section.
Step 4: The Name menu that appears allows you to change your Last Name, Middle Name, First Name. Choose the name you prefer and then click Review Changes.
Step 5: Here Facebook will provide suggestions for your personal Facebook display name.
After saving the changes, you can check by visiting your personal page to see if the display name has been successfully changed.
