- Step 1: Navigate to Settings -> iCloud -> disable Find My iPhone on your device, and also disable Touch ID & Passcode by going to Settings -> Touch ID & Passcode.
- Step 2: Power off your device.
- Step 3: Launch iTunes on your personal computer.
- Step 4: Connect your iPhone to the computer using a cable, then enter DFU mode by simultaneously holding the power and Home buttons on your iPhone for about 10 seconds, then release the power button but continue holding the Home button for about 3 seconds.
Executing the steps correctly in iTunes will reveal that your iPhone is currently in recovery mode, as depicted below. If your iPhone boots up to the main screen normally, return to step 2 and proceed until iTunes notifies as described.

On the following screen, you'll be provided with information about updating to iOS 8.4.1. Click on the Next button and then Agree to proceed. iTunes will download iOS 8.4.1 and install it on your device. After successfully restoring to iOS 8.4.1, you'll see a white screen with the text 'Hello' appearing. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the downgrade and restore your data.
