2. Passenger Service Procedures
To avoid confusion and lateness when arriving at the new terminal for the first time, please take note of this and follow the instructions provided by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam as follows:

Terminal Entrance
For international travelers: Passengers enter the public hall of Terminal 2 via 3 routes: through the bridge leading to the front lane on the 3rd floor; from the Terminal 2 car park to floors 1 and 2 via elevators and staircases to the 3rd floor; from Terminal 1 (for passengers connecting from domestic to international flights) by shuttle bus.
For arriving international passengers: From the aircraft, passengers can walk through the tunnel bridge, following the corridor leading to the central area of Terminal 2. If the aircraft parks outside the apron, passengers take a bus to the terminal, then use the escalator to the 2nd floor, entering the central area of the terminal for health checks and immigration.
Departure Procedures
Before each entrance to the departure area, there are 2 card-reading machines (VeriPax1) to identify passengers needing customs and baggage security checks.
If the card reader indicates no need for checks, passengers proceed with departure procedures. If it indicates checks are required, passengers are directed by airport security personnel to the Recheck room on the 3rd floor for inspection. After inspection, passengers return to complete departure procedures.
Arrival Procedures
Passengers undergo Health Inspection procedures (automated scanning) at two areas in front of the immigration area. Afterwards, passengers proceed with immigration formalities.
Security and Customs Check
Passengers enter the security screening area for individuals and carry-on luggage. There are two card-reading machines (VeriPax2) to identify passengers requiring baggage security checks.
If the card reader indicates no need for checks, passengers proceed to the waiting area. In case of luggage issues, airport security personnel will escort passengers to the Recheck room on the 1st floor (via direct elevator from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor) for inspection; after inspection, passengers return to the waiting area, awaiting boarding.
For passengers transferring from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2: there are complimentary shuttle buses available, serving passengers from 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM daily. The journey from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 takes approximately 10 minutes, with buses departing every 10 to 15 minutes. Each terminal is assigned a bus and an attendant, stationed at designated waiting points for passengers.
