The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has recently issued a document providing guidelines for the trial reception of international tourists in phase 2, effective from now until March 14. The scope of welcoming international tourists will be extended before fully opening on March 15.
Guide for Trial Reception of International Tourists until Full Reopening
During this phase, tourists will be engaged in a trial program for receiving international tourists. The reception of guests will be facilitated through chartered or international commercial flights, accompanied by certain mandatory regulations.
Eligibility:
- Foreign visitors
- Vietnamese residing abroad
- Vietnamese citizens
The following requirements must be met for entry:
- 1. Complete vaccination against Covid-19 or a 'Recovered from Covid-19' confirmation within the last 6 months. Children under 18, seniors over 65, or those unable to get vaccinated may travel with vaccinated guardians or caregivers.
2. Negative PCR test for Covid-19 within 72 hours (excluding children under 2).
4. Fully vaccinated or recovered travelers must join a tour for at least 3 days. Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travelers have a 7-day quarantine from entry.
