Sesame salt rice balls have long been a traditional dish familiar to Vietnamese people. Rice balls are a popular choice for long trips, picnics, or office lunches. Beautiful Korea also has a similar rice ball dish to ours, just a bit more intricate.

Required Ingredients:

- 140g of kimchi
- 1 can of canned tuna
- 45ml of kimchi sauce
- 2 stalks of spring onions, finely chopped
- 5ml of sesame oil
- 5g of Korean chili paste
- 500g of cooked sticky rice
- 1-2 large seaweed sheets
- A sprinkle of roasted black and white sesame seeds
- Triangle-shaped rice ball mold
Instructions for making kimchi rice balls:

- Drain the tuna through a sieve, removing all the soaking liquid. Then finely chop the kimchi.

- Stir-fry the kimchi with kimchi sauce in a pan for about 3 minutes. Then add the tuna, Korean chili paste, stir well, and continue stir-frying for another 2 minutes until the filling starts to dry. Then add the chopped spring onions and sesame oil to the filling in the pan and stir well. Stir until the filling is dry and becomes dry, then turn off the heat.

- Spread the seaweed sheet out on a flat surface and cut it into 8 small pieces.
- Mix a little salt into the cooked white rice.

Now, gently press down half of the mold with rice and spoon in the tuna kimchi filling into the center. Finish with a layer of white rice on top.

Next, cover the detachable lid of the mold and press firmly to shape the rice. Then remove the lid, lightly press the center of the mold on the opposite side, and the rice will easily release.

Finally, use a small piece of seaweed to wrap around the rice and sprinkle some roasted sesame seeds on top.

The rice cake is soft and fragrant, with the spicy flavor of kimchi blending with the savory tuna, complemented by the nutty aroma of sesame seeds. The tangy and spicy taste makes it incredibly delicious and satisfying.
